Dayoude brand manufacturers have developed the 202 series of permanent dental prosthesis and clear aligner materials suitable for light-curing 3D printing. Both materials meet performance requirements. This biocompatible photopolymer material enables the manufacture of direct aligners. It exhibits high elongation, flexibility, and precision. This innovative material technology in orthodontic treatment overcomes the current clinical limitations of clear aligners.
The production of invisible braces requires the use of a 3D printer. Currently, the method for producing invisible braces (clear aligners) is to first print a dental mold with a standard photopolymer and then die-cast the braces with a dentally certified transparent material. A dentally certified transparent photopolymer material that can be used for direct printing of braces would further improve production efficiency.
Two colors are available: clear and white.
· 202 (clear) is completely transparent and durable for orthodontic treatment devices.
· 202S (white) emphasizes durability and aesthetics.
Development Description:
Existing clear aligners require one to two weeks to manufacture, but using 3D printing with the material developed by Dayoude, this manufacturing time can be reduced to under one hour. By eliminating the need for film and vacuum forming processes, costs and processes are innovatively simplified. This innovative time savings allows for the rapid and easy provision of new clear aligners based on the patient’s changing dental condition. New clear aligners are applied to the patient’s teeth step by step, with an interval of 3-7 days, completing orthodontic treatment in a short period of time.
While its design is harmless to the human body, its strength surpasses that of engineering plastics and can be used in the manufacture of dentures. The resin is compounded in a solid raw material step, rather than simply mixing. This compounding technology allows for controlled molecular formula, enabling customization based on customer needs. Furthermore, the material used is environmentally friendly, reshapes upon application of hot water, and can even be sterilized.
